The more we hear about Jared Leto the more we dislike him. What a pretentious douchebag. Sending condoms, dead animals, and bodily fluids to cast members is not “edgy”, it is by legal definition sexual harassment. Doing these things is not “method acting” or “being in character” because the character of the Joker would never do anything as childish and irrelevant as send someone used condoms, and if Leto for one second thinks the Joker would do these things then he does not understand the character at all. This would not be given a free pass if it was any other actor on any other movie set. Jared Leto does not get a free pass for his actions because of the character he is playing. Playing a character who has been known to harass and assault people (though never with used condoms) is not a free pass to do such actions yourself. We hope ‘Suicide Squad’ as a whole is a roaring success, but to be clear, DC Feed will no longer be showing any support to Jared Leto or his portrayal of the Joker.
Also it is worth noting the horrible connotations of a white man sending a black woman a box of bullets. He did so to Viola Davis and she was actually afraid. He took it too far on more than one occasion just for kicks.
